A Touch of Hope

Beautiful bright berries! Say that 10 times fast! I saw these berries shouting out from a tree on the beach in Rochester on Thanksgiving Day. This year has been a tough one with a lot of loss in our family and the holidays just remind us of all of those empty seats at the table. I went for a walk early in the day to bust up the gloomy and found that it wasn't such a hard day after all. This picture reminds me that amid the thorns there can be something beautiful and to never let hope be lost.

Rolling

So a few days ago I took this photo (actually it was that fateful day that my camera was left out in the rain). It is my next door neighbor's grandsons rolling down the hill in the leaves. They were having an awesome time. Unfortunately this is the only really cool shot I got. I noticed their romp too late to get more. Enjoy these last few days of fall! Go for a roll in the leaves!
