These were taken at the March for Equal Rights in Washington DC on October 11th 2009. Much of these photos were taken just to show the large masses of people that came out in support of LGBT rights in the United States. It was a real eye opener and I found that most of the day I had a lump in my throat. All of these people...just like me...fighting for their right to love another. We will get there guys....I promise some day soon...we will get there. Oh and the picture of the hot guy in the sun glasses is the writer of the motion picture MILK, Dustin Lance Black. Very sweet...and he touched me and said hello!!! oooooooo! :) See the speech he gave that day here!
All of these photos represent some sort of "play" whether it be simply an image of a child smiling or a dog perched in her favorite spot. Photography is a new hobby and passion of mine and much of my work reflects my need for peace and light-heartedness. Taking pictures is playing to me and I can't wait to play some more! Enjoy my LIFE AT PLAY!
